The 1st league in 2015/16 was the 68th season of the second highest Polish men's soccer division. The season began on August 1, 2015 and ended on June 4, 2016. A total of eighteen clubs took part in the 2015/16 season.

Relegated from Ekstraklasa were GKS Bełchatów and Zawisza Bydgoszcz . MKS Kluczbork , Rozwój Katowice , and Zagłębie Sosnowiec were promoted from the third Polish division .
