Hubert Delanie Walker (* 12. August 1984 in Pomona , California ) is an American American football poker players on the position of tight ends . He played for the San Francisco 49ers and the Tennessee Titans in the National Football League (NFL). He is currently a free agent .

college

Walker first studied at Mt. San Antonio College, then moved to the University of Central Missouri , where he successfully played college football as a tight end and return specialist for their team, the Mules . In 2015 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame of his old university team for his achievements.

NFL

San Francisco 49ers

He was selected in the 6th round of the 2006 NFL Draft as the 175th player of the San Francisco 49ers . Since he injured himself in preparation for his rookie season, he only appeared in seven games in the 2006 season. Walker not only played in his original position with the 49ers, but now and then also as a wide receiver , as a fullback , as in college as a return specialist or even as a gunner . In 2012 he was able to reach the Super Bowl with his team , which was lost to the Baltimore Ravens .

Tennessee Titans

In 2013 he moved to the Tennessee Titans , where he now holds several franchise records. In 2015 he was the most successful pass recipient on his team with six touchdowns .

He set several personal bests and Titans franchise records during the 2015 season when he caught 94 passes for 1,088 yards. This earned him his first participation in the Pro Bowl . After the season, he extended his contract by two years for a total of 14.7 million US dollars .

After only being used in eight games in 2018 and 2019, he was released by the Titans on March 13, 2020.
