Radomsko [ ra'dɔmskɔ ] is a medium- sized town in the Łódź Voivodeship in Poland . Radomsko is the seat of the Radomszczański Powiat .
The city is located in the western part of the Radomsko heights, about 40 km from Częstochowa . The city covers an area of 50.6 km² and has about 49,000 inhabitants.
history
The settlement was first mentioned in 1243. City rights were granted by King Leszek II. Czarny in 1266. Many Radomsko Jews died in the Treblinka extermination camp in October 1942.

Attractions
- The Franciscan Monastery (OFM) was built in 1543 by Queen Bona Sforza . The church and monastery building were built in the Baroque style between 1728 and 1737 .
- The parish church of St. Maria Magdalena is a wooden church , the oldest parts of which date from the 16th century. The nave was built in wood in the 18th century.
- The St. Lambert Church was built in the neo-baroque style from 1869 to 1876 .
- The town hall dates from 1857.
economy
Radomsko is a large center of the wood (furniture factory), metal, machine and glass industries.
In the north-west of the city on state road 1 there is a 33.5 hectare area for investments which is part of the Łódź Special Economic Zone .

The Radomsko station and the Bobry stop on the Warsaw – Katowice railway line are in the municipality.
