history
The association was founded in 1923 under the name KS Szczakowianka . The 2001/02 season ended as third in the 1st division (then still 2nd division) and was able to prevail in the relegation games against the RKS Radomsko . Thus, Szczakowianka rose to the 2002/03 season for the first time in the highest Polish league . The club finished in the final table in 13th place among 16 teams and had to contest relegation games to avoid relegation, in which you were defeated by Świt Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki . Because of the involvement in a bribery scandal in the context of relegation, Szczakowianka had to relegate to the first division and was punished with a deduction of 10 points for the following season. At the end of the 2003/04 season Szczakowianka missed the direct return to the Ekstraklasa due to the point deduction.
In the following years the club rose to the sixth division. Szczakowianka currently plays in the sixth class Klasa okręgowa (Katowice IV group).
