Gambrinus League 2010/11

The Gambrinus League 2011/12 was the 19th season of the top Czech league in football . It took place from July 29, 2011 to May 12, 2012 with a winter break from December 6, 2011 to February 16, 2012. The defending champion was Viktoria Pilsen , who won the Czech championship title for the first time last year. The two traditional Prague teams FK Dukla Prague and FK Viktoria Žižkov were promoted from the Druhá League .

16 teams played against each other twice on a total of 30 match days, divided into a first half and a second half.

In a close championship fight, Slovan Liberec finally prevailed and was champion ahead of Sparta Prague and last year's winner Viktoria Pilsen . Relegated were Bohemians 1905 Prague and FK Viktoria Žižkov .

1As a result of a bribery scandal, Sigma Olomouc was deducted 9 points. The club was also excluded from participation in the 2012/13 UEFA Europa League . It moved up the FK Mladá Boleslav in the international starting positions.
