Michael Rabušic (born September 17, 1989 in Náměšť nad Oslavou ) is a Czech football player of Croatian descent.
Club career
Michael Rabušic, the son of ethnic Croats, started playing football at the age of six at FC Náměšť nad Oslavou. At the age of 13 he moved to FC Vysočina Jihlava , where he played in the junior division until 2006.
In the 2006/07 season, the striker made the leap into the professional team, but was also used in the B team that season.
In July 2007 Rabušic was facing a move to 1. FC Brno . Both clubs agreed on the transfer, and after talking to his agent Zdeněk Nehoda , the player finally decided to stay in Jihlava . In January 2009 Rabušic finally went to Brno . After they were relegated to the second division in the 2010/11 season , Rabusic moved to Slovan Liberec together with his teammate Josef Šural .
On January 31, 2014, Rabušic moved to the Italian Serie A Club Hellas Verona shortly before the end of the transfer phase .
National team
Rabušic played twice for the Czech U-16 team in 2005, and the attacker was used in the U-18 team between 2006 and 2007. In 2009 the attacker took part in the Junior World Championship in Egypt with the Czech U-20 selection . From 2009 to 2010 Rabušic was also part of the U-21 national team .
