The Na Litavce Stadium is a football stadium in the Czech city of Příbram . It is the venue of the 1. FK Příbram football club . The stadium, which was previously named after the Litavka River , has 9,100 seats.

history

The current stadium was built in 1927 and 1928 in Březové Hory for SK Březové Hory as a simple football field and opened on September 9, 1928. A first expansion followed in 1955, which was followed by the sporting rise of the club, which has since been renamed Baník Příbram.

From 1978 to 1980, the stadium was expanded with the help of the local uranium mine and now held 11,000 spectators. It received new grandstands, a new entrance gate and a block of flats and a hotel on the opposite rear side of the gate. The west stand got a roof.

In 1996 FC Příbram merged with Dukla Prague . The club initially played under the name FC Dukla in Prague , but then again in Příbram from the 1997 season. In order to make the stadium suitable for the first division, it was modernized again. The east stand was given a roof, and another stand was built behind the gate on the south side. The stadium was then converted into a so-called all-seater according to the rules of the Gambrinus League , so that the capacity fell to 9,100 seats. In 2001 a floodlight system was also installed. During the summer break of 2009, the stadium received underfloor heating .
