The Litavka ( Littawa ) is a tributary of the Berounka in the Czech Republic , which collects the water from the areas of the central Brdywald Mountains Praha and Tok near Příbram .
It rises at an altitude of 765 m. ü. M. from several sources on the eastern slope of Malý Tok , two kilometers northeast of the village of Nepomuk . For the first few kilometers it flows southeast through the town of Láz , turns northeast to north before Bohutín , crosses Březové Hory , Trhové Dušníky and after Bratkovice it forms a deep, twelve-kilometer long valley that separates the central Brdy Forest from its eastern part Hřebeny ( Brdykamm ) . It runs along the road and railway line via Dominikální Paseky, Čenkov , Jince and Rejkovice. Before Lochovice the river bed runs north again in an open landscape over Libomyšl and Chodouň towards Zdice . Here it turns the last kilometers of its river course northeast through Králův Dvůr , it flows into Beroun at an altitude of 218 m. ü. M. in the river Berounka .
The river has a catchment area of 629.4 km² and a river length of 54.6 kilometers. Its average amount of water in the estuary is 2.71 m³ / s.
