Martin Hašek (born October 11, 1969 in Pardubice ) is a Czech football player and football coach .
Player career
Hašek started at RH Pardubice, in 1980 he went to VCHZ Pardubice. He did his military service from 1990 to 1992 with RH Cheb , after which he played for Slovan Liberec for six years . In the summer of 1997 he moved to Sparta Prague . In the following years he was also a member of the national team. In 2001 he went to FK Austria Wien , in 2003 he went to SK Sturm Graz for half a year . He spent the 2004 season at Dynamo Moscow , where he met his former coach Jaroslav Hřebík . After Hřebík was dismissed, the new coach Hašek pushed from the B-team.
In January 2005 he went back to Slovan Liberec as a contract amateur, and in March of the same year he moved to his former club Sparta Prague, where he signed a one-year contract on July 1, 2005, which was extended for another season in summer 2006. In September 2006, however, he moved to Marila Příbram , after the 2006/07 season he ended his professional career. In addition, he played in the autumn of 2007 for the Prague fifth division club FC Přední Kopanina.
Hašek was a defensive midfielder with a fighting spirit, good technique and good play structure.
Coaching career
In the first half of the 2007/08 season Hašek was assistant coach for the B-team of Sparta Prague in the third Czech division, in the second half of the season he took over FK Baník Sokolov in the second division. Hašek returned to Sparta Prague in early 2009 to work as Jozef Chovanec 's assistant.
Private
His brother is the famous ice hockey goalie Dominik Hašek . Martin Hašek is married and has two sons, both of whom are also professional football players.
