Michal Švec (born March 19, 1987 in Prague ) is a Czech football player .

Career

Michal Švec began playing football with the Prague club SK Uhelné sklady, at the age of ten he moved to the youth of Slavia Prague . There he went through all junior teams before he made his debut in the first division on March 7, 2004 at the age of 16. From this point on, the young talent played regularly, in the 2004/05 season Švec came to 22 games. In the following season, the defensive midfielder made only ten games due to injury problems, but in 2006/07 he was back in the regular formation.

At the end of January 2008, Švec moved to the Dutch honorary division SC Heerenveen .
