Storvätteshågna ( Sami Gealta ) is a mountain east of Grövelsjön and north of Idre . It is located in the municipality of Älvdalen in the Swedish province of Dalarnas län .
With a summit height of 1204 m above sea level. it is the highest mountain in the Svealand part of the country , especially Dalarna County or the historical province (landskap) Dalarna .
It can be reached on foot and for experienced cross-country skiers from the Lövåsen winter sports resort . In good conditions, the view extends from the mountain to the Norwegian border area with the 1460 moh. high Elgåhogna in Femundsmarka National Park and across Lake Rogen into Härjedalen province .
On the summit plateau of the mountain there is also a lake, the Santesonstjärnen.
