David Střihavka (born March 4, 1983 in Prague ) is a Czech football player .
Club career
Střihavka started playing football at the age of six with the smaller Prague club Junior . After a year he moved to FC Bohemians Prague , where he stayed for a total of ten years. In 2000 he was signed by Sparta Prague . In early 2001 the striker was loaned to FK Jablonec , for whom he made his debut in the Gambrinus Liga on March 17, 2002 . After a year he returned to Sparta, but was only used in the B team, which was playing in the second division at that time. For the 2003/04 season he moved within the league to his former youth club Bohemians Prague. In the summer of 2004 he was brought back from Sparta, but only played 22 minutes in the league until the winter break. He was loaned to Chmel Blšany , for whom he scored in his debut to 2-0 against Tescoma Zlín . After a year, the attacker changed clubs again and played for Baník Ostrava . An enormous increase in performance accomplished Střihavka in the 2006/07 season, when he was the second top scorer in the league with 13 goals. For 240,000 pounds he moved to Norwich City in the English second division, where he could not prevail. His contract was terminated in January 2008, he moved to Slavia Prague , with whom he became Czech champion. For the 2008/09 season Střihavka returned on loan to Baník Ostrava. In the summer of 2009 Střihavka played for the first time at FC Viktoria Plzen , which signed him in 2007, but had repeatedly awarded him. At the beginning of 2011 Střihavka moved again to loan to Willem II Tilburg . In July 2011 he got a two-year contract with MŠK Žilina and thus ended his Pilsen rental odyssey with five different clubs in three countries in four years.
