Raver's Nature

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Raver's Nature was a music project in the field of electronic dance music that mainly produced hard trance and happy hardcore .

Band history

The music project consisted of Markus "Roy" Ströbel, Peter Luft ( alias Pedro Ferrari) and Ralf Lindner (alias John Bogota), all from Hof (Saale) . The idea for Raver's Nature came up in 1989, at the time of the acid house wave.

Ströbel and Luft started working as DJs in 1990 . In a club they met their future partner Ralf Lindner. At the end of 1991 the first publication Lost in Space appeared under the name Spirit of Tekknology. The track was first played by DJ Tanith at Mayday .

Raver's Nature was best known for the singles Take Off! and Stop Scratchin ' , which found their way into the mainstream in 1995 , placed themselves in the German and Swiss charts and were also played on the music channel VIVA , among others . The appearance at Mayday also contributed to the growing awareness. The debut album La Monza was released in 1995. The third release Bring Me Noise! was in the top 50 in Germany in autumn of that year.

The single Somebody Scream was released from the 1996 album La Monza (The Return) and became another top 50 hit in Germany. Despite various other publications, Raver's Nature was unable to build on the first successes. Only with Exit Fantasy (1996) and You Blow My Mind (1997) did the project make the brief jump into the German hit parade, but only to lower positions. It wasn't until five years later, in May 2002, that Goliath 10 the Anniversary was followed by a final chart success, this time in Switzerland.
