The Nemzeti Bajnokság 1918/19 was the 16th season in the history of the highest Hungarian football league . MTK Budapest became champion for the sixth time .

    Vidéki Bajnokság

    The teams outside Budapest determined the participants in five regional groups for the final round of the country championship, which was not held due to the Hungarian-Romanian War .

    Group south

    The group south played with ten teams in two seasons. The group final between the relay winners Aradi MTE and Szegedi TK did not take place.

    Transylvania group

    The Transylvania group with four teams was not finished.

    Group north

    The first division of group north played with eight teams and was won by Diósgyőr-Vasgyári TK . During the round, a large part of the teams to Czechoslovakia had previously been defeated and therefore eliminated.

    Group west

    The first division of Group West was played with six teams and won by Győri ETO .

    Pest-Land group

    The Pest-Land group played with nine teams in two seasons. The group final, which could only be held in April 1920, decided Szolnoki MÁV SE against Rákoscsabai TK with 2: 1.
