The Paksi Futball Club (also called Paks ) - formerly Paksi SE - is a Hungarian football club from the central Hungarian town of Paks on the Danube , which was founded in 1952. The club colors are green and white. The club plays its home games in the PSE stadium, which has a capacity of 5,000.
history
The Paksi SE rose in 2006 for the first time in the first Hungarian league, the Nemzeti Bajnokság I. Many former players of the former first division club Dunaferr SE also contributed to the rise .
In the first division Paksi reached 11th place three times and in 2010 only just managed to get 14th place out of 16 participants. In 2011 the club was runner-up and qualified for the 2011/12 UEFA Europa League .
