The Slovenska Nogometna Liga 2000/01 , also called Liga Si.mobil Vodafone after the sponsor, was the tenth season of the top Slovenian league in men's football . It began on July 22, 2000 and ended on May 27, 2001. The defending champion was NK Maribor .
