The 2001 Supreme Division was the tenth season of the Russian top division in football. It began on March 10, 2001 and ended on November 8, 2001. Spartak Moscow became champions for the ninth time . FK Fakel Voronezh and Chernomorets Novorossiysk had to relegate .
