Welsh Premier Women's Football League

The Welsh Premier Women's Football League is the top division in Welsh women's football. It has been held in two seasons, the Northern Conference and the Southern Conference, since the 2009/10 season. In the first season 2009/10 four teams played in each season, since the season 2010/11 five teams have played in each season. After the league has finished playing, the two season winners play the Welsh women's soccer champions in a grand final. From the 2012/13 season, the league will play on a single track with twelve teams.
