Haematologica - The Hematology Journal , abbreviated Haematol. - Hematol. J. , is a scientific journal published by the Ferrata Storti Foundation Publishing House. The magazine was founded by Adolfo Ferrata in 1920 and is currently published monthly. In 2005 the journal merged with The Hematology Journal . It is the official publication organ of the following scientific societies:

  • European Hematology Association (EHA)
  • European Association of Haematopathology (EAHP)
  • Italian Society of Hematology (SIE)
  • Spanish Society of Hematology and Hemotherapy (SEHH)
  • Italian Society of Experimental Hematology (SIES)

Papers from all areas of research and clinical studies in the field of hematology are published. Online access to the editions is free.

The impact factor in 2014 was 5,814. According to the statistics of the ISI Web of Knowledge , the journal with this impact factor ranks sixth out of 68 journals in the hematology category.
