Ada Martine Rogne Hegerberg , née Stolsmo Hegerberg (born July 10, 1995 in Sunndalsøra , Møre og Romsdal ) is a Norwegian soccer player . In 2018 she was awarded the Ballon d'Or féminin as world player of the year.
Career
societies
In 2011 Hegerberg played in the top series for the Norwegian club Kolbotn IL . At the age of 16 she was the most successful striker in her club. At the beginning of the 2012 season, she moved to Stabæk FK together with her sister Andrine . With Stabæk she won the runner-up and the cup . In the cup final against Røa IL , Hegerberg scored three goals in a 4-0 win. On December 14, 2012, she signed a contract with 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam until the end of the 2013/14 season. In July 2014, Hegerberg moved to the French champions Olympique Lyon . In her first season for Olympique she won the double of championship (the ninth in a row for Lyon) and Cup . National team
Hegerberg went through all of Norway's junior national teams. At the U-19 European Women's Championship in 2011 , she and her team reached the final, which they lost 8-1 to Germany . In 2012 she was part of the Norwegian squad for the U-20 Women's World Cup in Japan. Her debut in the senior team gave 19 November 2011 against Northern Ireland . On March 6, 2013 she scored her first goal for the senior national team in the 2013 Algarve Cup in the game against Japan.
With the Norwegian national team , she took part in the 2013 European Women's Football Championship in Sweden and reached the final with her, which ended in a 0-1 defeat against Germany.
In contrast to her sister, who was only nominated for the provisional squad, Hegerberg was also part of the squad for the 2015 World Cup . She was used in the four games, always played for the entire season and was her team's top scorer with three tournament goals.
