The women's team, which was then coached by Libor Hrabal, was third in the Regionalliga Nord in the 2006/07 season. Since the first and second in the table ( SGH Rosengarten and SG Misburg) waived promotion, TV Oyten was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga instead. After only one season, however, Oyten rose again to the regional league. In the 2008/09 season, the team was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. After two seasons in the 2nd Bundesliga, Oyten was relegated to the 3rd division . In the 2012/13 season, the team won the championship in the northern season of the 3rd division, but the associated promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga was waived. In the 2016/17 season, TV Oyten again decided against promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. In the 2019/20 season of the 3rd division, it was announced on November 6, 2019 that the club had separated from the previous coach Jörg Leyens.

With the start of the 2017/18 season , TV Oyten will be represented by the male A-Youth team in the A-Youth Bundesliga . After 2 qualifying rounds on 27./28. May 2017 in Groß Lafferde and on the 3rd / 4th June 2017 in Hanover-Burgdorf, the team of coach Thomas Cordes, consisting of players born in 1999 and younger, qualified for the youth Bundesliga.

Venue

The home games of the first women and the male A youth take place in the sports hall of the Pestalozzi School in Oyten, which has a capacity of around 600 spectators.
