Max-Henri Herrmann (born February 24, 1994 in Bonn , Germany ) is a former handball goalkeeper who has French and German citizenship .

Career

Herrmann began playing handball at HSG Geislar Oberkassel in 1999. Via TuS Niederpleis he came to TSV Bayer Dormagen , with whom he played in the 2nd handball Bundesliga in the 2011/12 season. Since 2012, the 1.95 meter tall goalkeeper has been under contract with HSV Hamburg , where he played in the U23 team and in the handball Bundesliga . In 2013 he won the EHF Champions League with Hamburg . In the 2013/14 season he was also eligible to play for the third division club SV Henstedt-Ulzburg , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2014/15 season.

After the 2014/15 season he ended his handball career to work as a shipping clerk in Marseille .

National team

In 2009 Max-Henri Hermann played for the French U17 national team for the first time. Two years later he reached fourth place with the U-19 national team at the 2011 U-19 handball world championship .
