Lars-Uwe Lang (born September 26, 1980 in Wolfsburg ) is a German handball player .

Career

The trained landscape gardener lived - due to his father's work in the Air Force - in his youth in Portugal and near Frankfurt and Augsburg before he moved to Hamburg. Until 2002, Lang then played for the regional handball league team TSV Ellerbek and from 2004 for the Bramstedter TS. In 2006 the cyclist was able to score 60 goals, one year later 72. As in the later course of his career, Lang drew attention to himself above all through his performance in defense, with a high number of time penalties and reds, especially in his first regional league years Cards collected.

He moved to VfL Bad Schwartau in 2007. There he was able to work his way up to the "defense chief" and in 2008 celebrated promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. In 2008 he was able to complete his first season as a professional player, but after a serious knee injury the season was over after 27 appearances for him. He was only able to celebrate his comeback at the end of 2009 and therefore only played a few games in the 2009/10 season. From the summer of 2011, Lang ran for SV Henstedt-Ulzburg . With the SVHU he played in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2012/13 season. In 2014 he ended his career. Since the 2016/17 season he has been playing for the Hamburg division HTS / BW96.
