The TSV "Up forever ungedled" e. V. Ellerbek and surroundings ( TSV Ellerbek ) is a sports club in the Pinneberg district . TSV Ellerbek is one of the largest sports clubs in the Pinneberg district with around 1700 members (as of 09-2014). The association currently has the departments handball , table tennis , volleyball and gymnastics-leisure-health .

history

The Turn- und Spielverein Ellerbek e. V. was founded in 1921. The honorary chairman Bruno Empen led the association for over 30 years.

Notoriety

The TSV Ellerbek became known beyond the borders primarily for its handball department, which has been outstanding for years, and its youth work. The club's handball players are observed with interest in various regions of Germany. The handball department currently has around 30 teams. Sports teachers and trainers as well as numerous voluntary helpers have shaped the club over the years and continuously developed it. In addition, there is the support of the Ellerbek community and the cooperation with the Hermann-Löns-Schule , which is of great importance for the association.

For the first time, one of the teams had reached the round of 16 in the DHB Cup with the first women's team . Here it was against the Bundesliga club and German champion from 2004 the FHC Frankfurt / Oder .
