Sascha Bertow

Sascha Bertow (born October 31, 1976 in Quickborn ) is a German handball trainer and handball player . He is used in the left wing position.

The trained heating and ventilation Bauer started the handball game at TuS Holstein Quickborn and moved in 1997 to the 2. Bundesliga playing TSV Ellerbek ; after the descent of TSV Bertow moved to SG Flensburg-Handewitt II in the regional league . From 2001 to 2005 he played for TuS Nettelstedt-Lübbecke in the 1st Bundesliga . Since 2005 he was active in the 2nd Bundesliga with Ahlener SG . For the 2009/2010 season Bertow was signed by the Stralsund HV as a player and youth coordinator; After the bankruptcy of the operating company of the Bundesliga team of the Stralsund HV and the license withdrawal, Bertow declared to stay in Ahlen, even if he no longer had a contract there. On July 30th, 2009 he signed a contract with TV Emsdetten . At the end of the 2010/11 season, Bertow asked TVE for an early termination of the contract that ran until 2012 in order to be able to work as a player- coach for the SG Ahlen-Hamm youth team . His contract runs until summer 2015. He will then end his playing career and concentrate on the coaching position.
