Dennis Klockmann (born September 2, 1982 in Hamburg ) is a German handball goalkeeper . He has been playing for VfL Lübeck-Schwartau since 2014 ( VfL Bad Schwartau until 2017 ).
Career
He played u. a. for AMTV Hamburg , TSV Ellerbek and SG Wilhelmsburg . In 2003 he came to TSV Altenholz . From 2004 to 2006 he had a second game right for the THW Kiel and was there third goalkeeper next to Henning Fritz and Mattias Andersson . In the Champions League game against Haukar Hafnarfjörður , he made his debut in the international premier class. Klockmann played about 15 minutes and held u. a. a seven meter. His greatest successes were the German championships in 2005 and 2006 with the THW Kiel. His contract (double play right) in Kiel ran out after the 2005/06 season, whereupon he moved to the second division club SV Post Schwerin and was there number 1 in goal.
On March 11, 2007 Dennis Klockmann's change to the Hessian first division club MT Melsungen was announced. The contract with SV Post Schwerin ran until June 30, 2008, but Klockmann made use of an exit clause and moved to Melsungen for the 2007/08 season. Since he was not satisfied with his playing times as the third goalkeeper in Melsungen, he moved to TuS N-Lübbecke in early December 2007 . However, he could not prevent the decline of the East Westphalia. Since his contract was only valid for the 1st division, his contract with the relegated ran out. From the 2008/09 season Klockmann played at Eintracht Hildesheim. In 2010 he was voted Hildesheim's Player of the Year. Although he extended his contract in Hildesheim by five years in February 2012, he moved to VfL Bad Schwartau for the 2014/15 season (since 2017 VfL Lübeck-Schwartau ).
