Markus Hansen (born May 20, 1992 in Eckernförde ) is a German handball player .

Hansen played at HSG Schülp / Westerrönfeld until 2009 . He then went to VfL Bad Schwartau , where he played in the second division team from 2010. For the 2013/14 season, the 1.94-meter-tall left winger moved to TV 1893 Neuhausen . In the summer of 2015 he returned to VfL Bad Schwartau (since 2017 VfL Lübeck-Schwartau ). In the 2015/16 season, after several VfL Bad Schwartau players were injured, Hansen was placed in the center backcourt position.

For the German junior national team, Markus Hansen has scored 36 goals in 29 international matches so far (as of July 9, 2013) .
