Jens Pumpkin

Jens Kürbis (born October 17, 1965 in Lommatzsch / Saxony ) is a German handball goalkeeper and sports editor .

Kürbis played for SC Leipzig from 1985 to 1991 , for SC Magdeburg from 1991 to 1995 and for VfL Bad Schwartau from 1995 to 2005 , and in the Bundesliga until 1999. In 2008 he was recruited again by TUSEM Essen .

Jens Kürbis played in the squad of the GDR men's national handball team at the 1990 World Cup , where he finished eighth with his team, and for the German men's national handball team at the 1993 World Cup (6th place). He was a total of 39 times in the ranks of the German Handball Association (DHV) of the GDR (21 games) and the German Handball Federation (DHB) of the FRG (18 games).
