Piotr Przybecki (born August 7, 1972 in Opole , Poland ) is a former Polish handball player . He last played in the handball Bundesliga at TSV Hannover-Burgdorf in the backcourt . For the Polish national team , he played 131 international matches, in which he threw 372 goals.
Career
In 1995 the trained sports teacher switched from the Polish KS Vive Kielce to the second division team TV Hüttenberg . Two years later he went to the first division club TUSEM Essen . In the 2000/2001 season he threw 240 goals for the TUSEM, after which the THW Kiel signed him. Even before his first game for Kiel, Przybecki injured his cruciate ligament so badly that he could only record one mission in his first season at Kiel. In the period that followed he was followed by bad luck with injuries, so that Kiel parted ways with him at the end of the 2003/2004 series. At HSG Nordhorn , his next club, he was luckier. However, the club filed for bankruptcy in 2009 and had to relegate to the 2nd Bundesliga . In summer 2009 he joined TSV Hannover-Burgdorf, where he played until summer 2012.
Przybecki was the sports director at Gaz-System Pogoni Szczecin in the 2013/14 season. He then took over the coaching position from the Polish first division club Śląsk Wrocław . In summer 2016 he switched to Wisła Płock. From June 2017 he also coached the Polish national team. In March 2018 he was released from his duties at Wisła Płock. In February 2019 he was fired from the Polish handball association. He has been training for VfL Lübeck-Schwartau since summer 2019 .
Przybecki is married to Agnieszka and has one son.
