The handball game community Nordhorn eV is a handball game community from Nordhorn .
It was created on June 1, 1981 from the merger of the handball departments of NS Sparta 09 and Eintracht Nordhorn . Since September 2008 the first men's team has been called HSG Nordhorn-Lingen and is represented under this name in the handball Bundesliga . it is operated by HSG Nordhorn-Lingen GmbH.
The HSG Nordhorn association provides the other teams:
- Four other men's teams
- Four women's teams (1st women's team: Oberliga Nordsee)
- Nine male youth teams (mA1: Oberliga Nordsee, mB1: Landesliga, mC1: Landesliga)
- Seven female youth teams (wA1: Oberliga Nordsee, wB1: Oberliga Nordsee)
- Nine senior teams
The HSG also provides around 40 referees.
