Jürgen Driessen (born July 3, 1967 in Düsseldorf ) is a music producer, DJ and live act from Düsseldorf.

Jürgen Driessen has published under many different names and is involved in many projects. This includes chart successes like Marc et Claude or Bruce Wayne as well as Exit EEE, Acrid Abeyance or Oliver Klein .

Life

Driessen started professional DJing in discos at the age of 18. In 1993 he met Marc et Claude and DJ Bossi (aka Cosmic Gate ), with whom he worked on his first professional recording.

One of her subsequent productions was her first release on the Le Petit Prince / Alphabet City label . Driessen's breakthrough came in 1994 with a remix for the single "La Cucamarcha", for which he received his first gold record. His most successful club hit to date followed with the release "Epidemic", which he released together with Ramon Zenker under the pseudonym Exit EEE. Shortly afterwards Driessen dealt with acid house and produced his debut release "Acid War" on Important Records together with DJ Plank. 1994 was also the year he became A&R with Important Records. He formed the Acrid Abeyance project with DJ Plank. In the meantime Jürgen went on a worldwide partly live / partly DJ tour both as Exit EEE and as Acrid Abeyance with performances at the Love Parade , Tribal Gathering (UK) and Club UK in London.

In the meantime Driessen has released over 200 different records, including several chart entries, as well as about as many remixes for acts such as Frankie Goes to Hollywood , Mr. President , Sash , Armand van Helden or Green Velvet . For this Driessen has been awarded several gold records. In 2000 he worked with Oliver Klein on productions such as “Rheinkraft” and “Timeloop”. To date (October 2008) he has released ten records under his own name on labels such as Mutekki , Hook Recordings , Maelstrom , NEWS and Stik .
