mascot
The mascot of the MT Bundesliga handball players, a dragon, is called "Henner". His birthday is November 11, 2009. The name "Henner" - the North Hessian short form of Heinrich - came about through suggestions from the fans. They submitted proposals at the time, and the name was drawn from among them. The motto at the time was: "Fire and Flame for the MT", so a dragon was the perfect mascot. Henner supports the team at every home game and represents the Bundesliga team at promotional events as well as at social events. The person in the dragon costume is only a few people, u. a. the team and the board.
