Sándor Balogh (handball player)

Sándor Balogh (* 31 March 1960 in Szeged ) is a from Hungary originating Handball coach and former handball player. He has had German citizenship since 2005.

Sándor Balogh played as a circle runner . In July 1990 he got an engagement with the then regional league team MT Melsungen , with whom he rose to the 2nd handball league in 1992 . After several knee operations in the mid-1990s, he ended his active career in Melsungen in 2001.

He was also part of the Hungarian national team , for which he played 30 internationals .

After finishing his playing career, Sándor Balogh became assistant coach of the club's first men's team and was also an interim coach.

The trained mechanic is married and has two children.
