Daniel Kubeš (born February 7, 1978 in Prague ) is a Czech handball trainer and former handball player . He coaches the Czech men's national handball team . With a body length of 2.00 m, he weighs 110 kg.
Career
society
Kubeš played since a torn ligament in his hand mainly in defense, where he was considered one of the best in the league. However, the backcourt player was also known for his time penalties. In the relevant statistics of the handball Bundesliga , he was regularly among the first players.
From the 2008/09 season Kubeš played for TBV Lemgo . The contract with SC Magdeburg , which had already been signed in April 2007 and was also valid from the 2008/09 season, was terminated by mutual agreement.
On the last day of the 2009/10 season, THW Kiel announced the conclusion of a two-year contract at the start of the new season. On February 13, 2012, THW Kiel announced the move from Kubeš to MT Melsungen , where he signed a two-year contract. In January 2014, it was announced that his contract with MT, which expired at the end of the season, would not be extended. In summer 2014 he took over the coaching of the Czech national handball team together with Jan Filip . In addition, from the 2014/15 season until February 2020 he was a coach at the second division TV Emsdetten . He took over HSG Nordhorn-Lingen for the 2020/21 season .
