Pavel Mičkal (born January 31, 1984 in Valašské Meziříčí , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech handball player . He plays in the handball Bundesliga at HSG Nordhorn .

Mičkal began his career at the Czech club HC Gumárny Zubří . In 2005 he then signed a contract with HSG Nordhorn.
Mičkal is usually used in the left winger position.

So far, he has played 43 international matches for the Czech Republic . At the 2007 handball world championship , he was part of the expanded Czech squad. He does not belong to the squad for the European Championship 2008 .
