Toon Leenders (born April 17, 1986 in Deurne , Netherlands ) is a Dutch handball player .

Career

Toon Leenders played in the Netherlands for Bevo HC, with whom he took part in the EHF Cup and the European Cup Winners' Cup. 2009 changed the 2.02-meter circle runner for German second division club HSG Nordhorn-Lingen . From 2012 he was under contract with TUSEM Essen , with whom he played in the handball Bundesliga in the 2012/13 season . In summer 2014 he returned to Nordhorn. From the 2015/16 season he was under contract with Bevo HC. Since July 2017 he has been under contract again at HSG Nordhorn-Lingen.

Leenders has played 102 caps for the Dutch national team so far , scoring 165 goals.
