Björn Bastian Buhrmester (born November 3, 1984 in Minden ) is a German handball player . He is currently under contract with HSG Nordhorn-Lingen .

Career

In his youth, Buhrmester played at TSV Hahlen until 2002 . Then he moved to TSV GWD Minden . He first played for the second team. From summer 2004 to January 2005 he had a second game right for the Bundesliga club TuS N-Lübbecke , who had severe injury problems. Due to his achievements, he played in the squad of the Bundesliga team of GWD Minden from 2005. In summer 2008 he returned to the then second division club TuS N-Lübbecke, with whom he made promotion to the Bundesliga in the following season. However, he then left the club. In August 2009 he signed a contract with HSG Nordhorn-Lingen in the second Bundesliga.

His uncle Jens was also a handball goalkeeper at GWD Minden and TuS N-Lübbecke.
