Julian Possehl (born December 31, 1992 in Osnabrück ) is a German handball player .

Career

Julian Possehl started playing handball at Sportfreunde Loxten from Versmold . In 2009 he joined the HSG Handball Lemgo, one of TBV Lemgo and TV Lemgo based syndicate for the youth and youth level. For the HSG he played in the youth division and later in the third division . From 2013, the 1.91-meter-tall backcourt player played for TBV Lemgo in the handball Bundesliga , and from February 2014 had an additional right to play for the second division ASV Hamm-Westfalen . For the 2014/15 season he signed a two-year contract with ASV. He has been under contract with HSG Nordhorn-Lingen since summer 2018 .

Possehl took part in the 2011 U-19 World Cup in Argentina with the German national youth team. He is part of the German junior national team, for which he has scored 11 goals in four international matches so far .

In addition to handball, Possehl is training to be an industrial clerk .
