Nicky Verjans (born August 27, 1987 in Heerlen , Netherlands ) is a former Dutch handball player . His playing position was right winger .
From the age of 17 Verjans played in the handball Bundesliga at HSG Nordhorn ; his contract ran until the end of the 2009/10 season. Then he switched to TuS Nettelstedt-Lübbecke . In summer 2012 he returned to HSG Nordhorn-Lingen . There he ended his career after the 2019/20 season.
Verjans made 64 appearances for the Dutch national team .
Robin Verjans, Nicky's younger brother, plays in the Dutch U21 national team.
