The TSV Hahlen (officially: Turn- und Sportverein Hahlen 1945 eV ) is a handball club from the Hahlen district of Minden . The first women's team played in the third division for two years and took part in the DHB Cup once.

history

The association was founded in 1945. In addition to handball, the TSV also has table tennis and popular sports departments . TSV Hahlen cooperates with the Freiherr-von-Vincke-Realschule Minden .

Women

The Hahlerinnen were runner-up in the Oberliga Westfalen in 2011 and 2012 behind TV Lenzinghausen and HSG Menden-Lendringsen . Finally, the team became champions in 2013 and rose to the 3rd division. Two years later it went back down to the top division.

In 2011 the team qualified for the DHB Cup. After a bye in the first round Hahlerinnen met in round two to the second division SC Greven 09 and lost clearly with 19:32.

Men

The men's team was promoted to the Oberliga Westfalen in 2006, which was held until 2012. Since relegation, the Hahlers have been in the association league. The male A-youth became German runner-up in 2001.
