HK Drott is a Swedish handball club from Halmstad . The men's team HK Drott played for many years in the highest Swedish league, the Elitserien . The club was able to win the Swedish championship a total of eleven times (1975, 1978, 1979, 1984, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1994, 1999, 2002, 2013). HK Drott moved into a European Cup final twice, but the Swedes were defeated in 1990 against CB Cantabria Santander in the European Cup Winners' Cup and in 1994 against TUSEM Essen in the Euro City Cup .
