Dalibor Anušić (born April 7, 1976 in Banja Luka ) is a former handball player from Bosnia-Herzegovina . He has been a Croatian citizen since 2007 .

The 1.98 meter tall Anušić last played for the German club Frisch Auf Göppingen and for the Croatian national team ( shirt number 8), and was usually used as a circle runner.

Career

Dalibor Anušić played his first league games for RK Brodomerkur Split and became Croatian runner-up there in 1997, before moving abroad for the first time in 2002, to Pallamano Trieste in Italy. After three years in Friuli , he returned to Croatia in 2005 and joined series champion RK Zagreb . There he won the championship and cup in 2005, 2006 and 2007. In 2007 he moved to Frisch Auf Göppingen in the German handball Bundesliga , where he played with a one-year break (2009/10 season at MT Melsungen ) until the end of his professional career in 2012. With Göppingen he won the EHF Cup in 2011 and 2012 .

Anušić had already played international matches for Bosnia and Herzegovina before accepting Croatian citizenship in 2007. Since then he has played around 10 international matches for the Croatian national team. At the 2007 World Cup in Germany , he finished 5th with the Croatians who came as the favorite for the title.
