The Rukometni klub Split is a handball club from the Croatian city of Split . The association, founded in 1948, was also called Uniondalmacija , Split Sting , KRM , Brodomerkur , Koteks and EMC . He played from 1995 in the top division of Croatia, the Premijer Liga . In the 2012/13 season he had to relegate as the penultimate in the second division (1st HRL). The RK Split was represented several times internationally. They failed in the 1997/98 EHF Cup in the semifinals at THW Kiel , in 1998/99 in the quarter-finals at SC Magdeburg , in 2000/01 in the quarter-finals at RK Metković Jambo and in 2001/02 in the third round at GOG Gudme . In the EHF Challenge Cup 2005/06 they were eliminated in the third round against RK Medveščak Zagreb .
