Goran Suton (born July 25, 1968 in Mostar , SFR Yugoslavia ; † November 25, 2016 ) was a Croatian handball trainer and Bosnian handball player who was most recently under contract with the German Bundesliga club TuS N-Lübbecke .

Career

Goran Suton played handball with RK Split , he for the 1998-99 season in the EHF Cup aground. He played 34 international matches for the Bosnian-Herzegovinian national team .

As a trainer, Suton was in charge of HSG Vulkan Vogelsberg from 2001 , which he led into the regional handball league within four years , and then TV Willstätt and HR Ortenau . In the 2009/10 season he coached the then Bundesliga club HSG Düsseldorf , from which he was given leave of absence in April 2010 due to a sporting failure. The next stop was the third division club GSV Eintracht Baunatal , which he left in October 2011. From April 2012, Suton was coach of the second division HG Saarlouis , from which he moved to the first division TuS N-Lübbecke in the 2015/16 season. In November 2015 TuS N-Lübbecke parted ways with him.

Private

Suton's sons Sven (* 1993) and Tim (* 1996) are professional handball players .
