EHF Cup 1998/99

At the EHF Cup 1998/99 31 took Handball part -Vereinsmannschaften, who had qualified in the previous season in their home leagues for the competition. The defending champion was THW Kiel . It was the 18th edition of the EHF Cup or the IHF Cup. The cup games began on September 29, 1998, the second final took place on April 18, 1999. In the final, SC Magdeburg was able to prevail against CBM Valladolid .

mode

All rounds including the final were carried out in a knockout system with a return leg. The competition started with the sixteenth finals with only 15 games. TBV Lemgo moved into the round of 16 by bye .
