IHF Women's Cup 1982/83

The 1982/83 IHF Cup was the second edition of the competition introduced by the International Handball Federation , in which 17 handball club teams from 16 countries took part. They qualified for the European Cup in their home countries in the previous season . In the final, the Soviet team from Awtomobilist Baku prevailed against SC Empor Rostock from the GDR .
