EHF Women's Cup 2008/09

A total of 63 handball club teams took part in the 2008/09 EHF Cup , and they qualified for the competition in their home countries in the previous season. It was the 28th edition of the EHF Cup. The cup games began on September 6, 2008, the second round final took place on May 17, 2009. The winner of the EHF Cup this year was the Spanish club SD Itxako . The defending champion of the EHF Cup is the Russian club GK Dynamo Volgograd .
