Natalie Augsburg (born November 15, 1983 in Krapkowice ) is a former German handball player .

Career

At the age of 14 she switched from athletics to handball. The 1.75-meter-tall left wing player initially played for Rastatter TV and joined TSG Ketsch in 2001 . In the summer of 2007 she moved to HC Leipzig . Shortly after the 2013 World Cup in Serbia, she moved to Füchsen Berlin in December 2013. After the 2014/15 season, she ended her career.

Natalie Augsburg was part of the German national team . She played her first game for the national team on May 26, 2010 in Novo mesto against Slovenia. She scored 129 goals in 78 international matches . With Germany, she took part in the 2013 World Cup and scored nine goals in seven games.

Her sporting successes include the German Championship in 2009 and 2010 and the DHB Cup victory in 2008.

She is a student of business education at the University of Mannheim and Leipzig .
