Randers HK ( Randers Håndbold Klub ) is a Danish handball club from Randers . The women's team plays in the highest Danish league.
history
On April 16, 1996 several clubs (Dronningborg Boldklub, Kristrup Boldklub, Randers Freja, RB 72, Lem IF, Randers KFUM, Vorup FB and Hornbæk SF) merged to form Randers HK. In September 1999 the men's department had to be dissolved. Since then, the club has concentrated completely on women's handball.
At the end of 2004 the club got into financial difficulties. With the help of the municipality of Randers and various companies, Randers HK A / S was founded on June 1st, 2005 .
