The 1982/83 IHF Cup was the second edition of the competition introduced by the International Handball Federation , in which 22 handball club teams from 22 countries took part. They qualified for the European Cup in their home countries in the previous season . In the final, the Soviet team from ZTR Zaporischschja prevailed against IFK Karlskrona from Sweden .
